If you’re serious about being spiritually strong and mature,
the greatest habit you can develop is memorizing Scripture.
Receive, please, instruction from His mouth, and lay up His words in your heart.
In the beginning God created the heavens and the earth.
In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God
And the Word becasme flesh and dwelt among us, and we beheld His glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the father, full of grace and truth.
For God so loved the world that he gave his only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life.
All Scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness, that the man of God may be complete thoroughly equipped for every good work.
2 Timothy 3:16
This Book of the Law shall not depart from your motuh, but you shall meditate on it day and night, that you may bserve to do according to all that is written in it. For then you will make your way prosperous, and then you will have good success.
Your Word I have hidden in my heart so that I might not sin against you.
You don’t want to be a spiritual baby anymore. It’s time to grow up and live the life you’re meant to live.
Hiding God’s Word in your heart is an important way to start.
For the Word of God is living and powerful and sharper than any two-edged sword, piercing even to the division of soul and spirit, and of joint and marrow and is a discerner of thoughts and intents of the heart.
…that Christ died according to the scriptures, and that he was buried, and that He rose again on the third day according to the scriptures,
1 Corinthians 15:3b-4
Let us therefore become boldly to the throne of grace, that we may obtain mercy and find the grace to help in time of need.
And this is the testimony given : that God has given us eternal life, and this life is in His Son.
1 John 5:11
He who has the son has life; he who does not have the son of Goddoes not have life.
1 John 5:12
These things I have written to you who believe in the name of the Son of God, that you may know that you have eternal life, and that you may continue to believe in the name of the Son of God.
1 John 5:13
Now this is the confidence that we have in Him, that if we ask anything according to His will, He hears us.
1 John 5:14
And if we know that he hears us, whatever we ask, we know that we have the petitions that we have asked of Him.
1 John 5:15
For all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God
For the wages of sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord.
But God demonstrates His own love toward us in that while we were still sinners, Christ died for us.
That is you confess with your mouth the Lord Jesus and believe in your heart that God has raised Him from the dead, you will be saved.
You may not think you have a good memory,
but you remember what’s important to you.
Let not your heart be troubled; you believe in God, believe also in Me.
And if I go to prepare a place for you, I will come again and receive you unto Myself; that where I am, there you may be also.
Jesus said to them, “I am the way, the truth and the life. No one comes to the father except through me.”
But he was wounded for our transgressions, He was bruised for our iniquities; the chastisement for our peace was upon Him, and by His stripes we are healed.

Enter into His gates with thanksgiving, and into His courts with praise. Be thankful to Him and bless His name.
For the Lord is good, His mercy is everlasting, and His truth endures to all generations.
You are worthy, O Lord to receive glory and honor and power; for You created all things, and by Your will they exist and were created.
And we know that all things work together for good to those who love God, to those who are called according to His purpose.
But if we walk in the light as He is in the light, we have fellowship with one another, and the blood of Jesus Christ His Son cleanses us from all sin.
1 John 1:7
If we confess our sins, He is faithful and just to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.
1 John 1:9
Trust in the Lord with all your heart, and lean not on your own understanding.
In all your ways acknowledge Him, and He shall direct your paths.
No temptation has overtaken you except such as is common to man; but God is faithful, who will not allow you to be tempted beyond what you are able, but with temptation will also make a way of escape, that you may be able to bear it.
1 Corinthians 10:13
I beseech you therefore, bretheren, by the mercies of God, that you present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable to God, which is your reasonable service.
Memory is a skill you can learn. It’s a muscle you can strengthen.
In fact, memorizing Scripture will cause your brain to have a stronger memory in other areas.
And do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind, that you may prove what is good and acceptable and perfect will of God.
Not lagging in diligence, fervent in spirit, serving the Lord
Rejoicing in hope, patient in tribulation, continuing steadfastly in prayer; distributing to the needs of the saints, given to hospitality.
Not forsaking the assembling of yourself together, as is the manner of some, but exhorting one another, and so much the more as you see the Day approaching.
And do not be drunk with wine, in which is dissipation; but be filled with the Spirit.
Speaking to one another in psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, singing and making melody in your heart to the Lord,
Giving thanks always for all things to God the Father in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ.
Submitting to one another in the fear of God.
Wives, submit to your husbands as to the Lord.
For the husband is head of the wife, as also Christ is head of the Church; and he is the savior of the body.
Rejoice in the Lord always. Again I will say, rejoice!
And the peace of God which passes all understanding will guard your hearts and minds through Jesus Christ.
I have been crucified with Christ; it is no longer I who live, but Christ who lives in me; and the life which I now live in the flesh I live by faith in the Son of God, who loved me and gave himself for me.
Let the word of Christ dwell in you richly in all wisdom, teaching and admonishing one another in psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, singing with grace in your hearts to the Lord.
And whatever you do in word or deed, do all in the name of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks to God the Father through Him.
